Best Value Schools has ranked Ohio Northern University No. 9 in its “30 Best Value Colleges and Universities in Ohio 2015” rankings published at bestvalueschools.com.
Best Value Schools assigns a numerical score to each school after evaluating graduation rate, net price and 20-year return on investment. After adding the points, the rankings give each university a final score out of 200.
The top 30 schools in the rankings have scores ranging from 91 to 164, and each has something different to offer in terms of its cost, quality and reputation. ONU finished with a final score of 128.43.

The Hardin County Chamber & Business Alliance will present a check during Ada's Nov. 17 village council meeting.
A $1,500 check will be presented to Ada's Community Improvement Corporation leadership.
In addition, the Alliance will present a check of $1,000 to the Forest Community Improvement Corporation during its monthly meetingon Nov. 18.
Both checks come from the Economic Development Division of the Hardin County Chamber and Business Alliance, and will help towards their community and economic development efforts and strategies.

There will be a spaghetti dinner and bowling benefit for Amelia Griffin at Norada Lanes, 1182 SR 235, on Saturday, Dec. 5.
Dinner will be served from 2 to 5 p.m. Kids bowling will start at 3 p.m. Adult Scotch mixed doubles will begin at 6 p.m.
Dinner is $8. Bowling is $5 for children and $30 a couple.
Amelia is the daughter of Beau and Christina Griffin. Her brothers are Jude, 7, and Willie, 3. Four-year-old Amelia has been diagnosed with stage 4 cancer.

The ground breaking ceremony for the Mercy Health Ada Family Medicine will be on Monday, Nov. 16, at noon.
The practice will be located at 604 W. North Avenue, Ada.
Construction for the office will begin soon. The Mercy Health Ada Family Medicine office will be a family practice open to the needs of the community members.
