Noteworthy Community Choir was established as a non-profit choral organization to develop personal and community artistry. Twenty-five singers joined the opening season. Auditions are being held throughout August.
From “Treble Makers” to “Expressions,” there is a choir available for singers ages 6 - 86+. “Sounds” and “Voices” are offered in both Ada and Lima, and “Treble Makers” and “Expressions” are offered in Ada.

Steven J. Harris, age 67, died unexpectedly on Saturday, August 4, 2018 at 3:08 PM at Lima Memorial Health System, Lima, Ohio.
He was born on June 16, 1951 in Lima to the late Ralph and D. Elaine (McGillvary) Harris.
Steve retired from Century Link after working for 45 years as a Communications Technician. He graduated from Ada High School in 1969. He was a U.S. Army National Guard veteran who served as an Infantryman from 1969 to 1975. He moved to Bonita Springs, FL 18 years ago. He was an avid Ohio State and Cleveland Browns football fan. He loved to fish, play cards, watch football, and spend time with his family and friends.
On Saturday, Aug. 11, at 9 p.m., Steve Rice of the Millstream Astronomy Club will present a program about the Perseid Meteor Shower at Hancock Park District’s (HPD) Riverbend Recreation Area, Shelter 5. Following the show, participants will safely observe Mercury, Venus, Mars, Jupiter, Saturn, Neptune, Uranus and of course, the Perseid Meteor Shower. Look through the club’s telescopes or bring your own; the club can help you with set up.
All ages are welcome to attend this free program. Registration is not required.
