ADA - The Ada football team will host its second straight non-league foe Friday when they welcome Arlington to War Memorial Stadium in week two.

ADA - The Ada girls soccer team kicked off its Northwest Conference slate with a tough 2-0 loss to visiting Spencerville Monday evening at the park.
Ada fell to 2-2 and 0-1 in the NWC with the defeat. The Lady Bearcats improved to 2-0-1 and 1-0-1 in the league with the win.
Spencerville scored early in the game to take a 1-0 lead. Bearcat Shaffer dribbled through the Bulldog defense to net the first goal.
"After that, we were able to keep the ball on our offensive end but only managed to get four shots on goal," said Ada head coach Doug Poling. "The second half started out the same with us controlling much of the possession."
BELLEFONTAINE - The Ada volleyball team started well but lost at perennial power Ben Logan Monday evening in four sets.
The Lady Bulldog spikers are now 3-3 after the loss.
Ada lost by a 25-22, 25-4, 13-25, 25-16 count.
"We started off strong in the first set and were up 19-14 but couldn't finish," said new Ada head coach Kyleigh Tabor. "We got down on ourselves in the second set, but turned it around and played extremely well in the third set. But we couldn't carry it over to the fourth.
