Ada's latest news

Persons attending the Sept. 15 Ada Harvest and Herb Festival are in for an entertaining musical treat. Lori Fithian brings Drummunity to the fest' with a 1 p.m. performance in the depot park.  Drummunity is an interactive program for all kinds of groups. It’s not a “show” to sit back and watch. Everyone participates - from 10 to 400 or more people - all playing together. Using hand drums, percussion, and simple drum circle games, Fithian creates a positive, non-competitive experience for people of all ages and abilities to share. Ada Public Library sponsors Drummunity.

Support United Way in 2019

Dear Editor,

During the last few years, as a board member of The United Way of Hardin County, I have been so pleased with the support we have received from our county residents and business.  Hardin County people taking care of Hardin County people!

In the words by Nelson Mandela,  "It is in your hands to create a better world for all who live in it" is an immeasurable characteristic of Hardin County! With your assistance, United Way can continue to fulfill it's mission, mobilizing the caring power of our community. Through the communities support, our 21 non-profit agencies are able to continue the many services provided to our residents.
