Case Western Reserve enters the nonconference affair with a 1-1-0 overall record.

Ada High School student Austin Amburgey has had a stellar week at the fair. In the rabbit show, he won Overall Reserve Champion Commercial Buck, Champion Senior Buck New Zealand, Reserve Champion Senior Doe New Zealand, Reserve Champion Junior Doe Mini Rex and placed second in Showmanship. In poultry he placed fourth in showmanship. And, he is a member of the Junior Fair Board.

 

Justin Light, Ada High School grad and last year’s Hardin County fair king, won first place in stakes and first place in keyhole at this year’s county fair.

Ada sophomore Megan Light won reserve grand champion for born and raised lamb at the county fair.

All veterans and active duty personnel will be honored at Military Appreciation Night at the football game between Ada and Spencerville on Friday, Sept. 21. They will be invited onto the field for the National Anthem, have free admittance to the game, receive a meal ticket, and be given a shirt commemorating the evening.

Nathan Mattson received several awards at the Hardin County Fair, including second place in showmanship, first place in the intermediate Holstein Heifer class, junior grand champion in the Holstein Heifer Class and reserve grand champion in the Holstein Heifer show.
