Ohio Northern’s Family Day drew several hundred parents and siblings to campus on Saturday.

One of the events was Bright Pink 5K Race for the Cure. Sixty-five runners participated. Their goal: raise $750 for the prevention and early detection of breast and ovarian cancer. Kappa Epsilon, the student society of health-system pharmacists, and Zeta Tau Alpha, a social sorority, sponsored the race.

Other ONU Family Day activities included a fine arts exhibit, inflatables on the Tundra, and a tailgate.

TIFFIN — The Ohio Northern women's golf team finished second of 14 teams at the Heidelberg Fall Invitational Saturday and Sunday at Mohawk Golf and Country Club. The Polar Bears are now 12-1.

A large crowd was on hand for the 33rd annual Ada Harvest and Herb Fest on Saturday. Good weather, a record number of vendors, the crowning of a queen, a parade and family-friendly entertainment drew many people to Ada’s Main Street from 9 a.m. until 4 p.m. Almost magically, everyone was packed up, the street sweeper had done its job, and SR 235 was open to traffic by 5 p.m.

Noah Mattson and the Ada defense recorded several sacks in the 38-6
crushing of Delphos Jefferson Friday on Homecoming.
