Nick and Amber Simon from “One More,” a new Ada business are the featured speakers at the 8 a.m., Wednesday, Feb. 17, Ada Area Chamber of Commerce meeting on Zoom.
The Simon’s business is at 123 E. Buckeye St., Ada, and involves fitness and other businesses, according to Becky Neville, chamber president.
The meeting will also include other points of chamber business including membership updates, membership announcements and information about the chamber’s annual meeting on Zoom, at noon, Wednesday, March 17.

FROM BLUFFTON ICON - GROB, Bluffton, is searching for its next class of apprentices. Over the past years, several persons in the program are Ada High School graduates.
The application deadline for the 2021 class is Wednesday, March 31.
The apprenticeship program at GROB Systems has been in place at the Bluffton production plant for 30 years. The goal of the program is to build the company’s future workforce with employees who are trained in a highly technical way that matches the growing needs of their customers and products.
To date, GROB Bluffton has hired and trained over 375 apprentices.
Bluffton author Fred Steiner will lead a discussion on “Making It a Book” at 6 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 25, in an online program hosted by the Bluffton Center for Entrepreneurs (BCE).
Steiner will walk through the process of self publishing from manuscript to printed copies. After a 30-minute interview is recorded for YouTube, Steiner will take questions from online guests.
Ohio Northern University has announced that hospitality corporation Waterford Hotel Group is now handling management of The Inn at Ohio Northern University, 401 W. College Ave. The transition took place on Jan. 18.
Waterford Hotel Group, a Connecticut-based industry leader for more than 30 years, manages 36 hotels in nine states, such as a Westin in Columbus and a Comfort Inn in Piqua and on college campuses such as Amherst College, Williams College and Gettysburg College.
