74 percent of Ohio AEP customers have power

As of 5 p.m. July 4, AEP Ohio, through our rebuilding efforts, has restored power to approximately 74 percent of the 660,000 customers affected by the catastrophic storm that moved through the state June 29 and the additional 20,000 who lost power in the July 1 evening  storm.                                                                   

Approximately 171,000 AEP Ohio customers remain without power across our service territory this afternoon.                                        

55 percent of AEP customers have power restored

By 9 a.m. today, (July 3) AEP Ohio had restored power to         
approximately 55 percent of the 660,000 customers affected by the         
catastrophic storms that moved through the state June 29 and the          
additional 20,000 outaged by the July 1 evening storm.                    

Meteorologists continue to show the threat of possible thunderstorms      
through the end of the week. Temperatures are forecasted to remain in the 
mid-90s throughout this period.                                           

Approximately 297,000 customers were without power at 9:00 a.m. today.

New owners for Health Trends Gym and Tanning; grand opening June 29-30

Ada’s newest business owner is Ursula Minich of Alger. She recently purchased Health Trends Gym and Tanning at 123. E. Buckeye Ave. Minich and her daughter, Heather Winegardner, will operate the business.

The Ada Area Chamber of Commerce welcomed the new owners into the community with a ribbon cutting on June 5.
