This is the season for reindeer in Ada. Here's another family of the lighted winter creatures on an Ada lawn, just outside the ONU campus.

LIMA - The Ada varsity swim team competed in the 26-team LCC Holiday Invitational Tuesday evening at the Lima YMCA natatorium.

Wapakoneta won the combined boys/girls meet with 689 points, while Ottawa-Glandorf ended up second (648) and Lima Shawnee was a distant third (438).

Ada finished a solid 11th with 114.5 points.

Sophomore Carlie Oldfield won the 100 backstroke, and also came in third in the 50 freestyle to pace Ada. 

Senior Paige Cole finished third in the 100 butterfly, and ended up seventh in the 200 individual medley.

Bluffton Airport continues as one of Mercy Health's four bases in the new network

Life Flights from
Bluffton + 19 ground transports

FROM BLUFFTON ICON - On Feb 1, 2021, Mercy Health will introduce a consolidated Life Flight Network to handle its air and ground transportation services.

The Bluffton Airport is home to one of the four Mercy Health Life Flight bases involved in the new network. Other bases include a mobile ICU base, plus air bases in Wauseon and Sandusky.

The Life Flight Network will combine and coordinate existing air services of Life Flight, which provides medical transportation services, including critical care transport, with ground medical transportation services provided by LACP and LifeStar.
