KENTON__While it is difficult to think about planning for the future when money is tight, learning basic money management skills will strengthen independence, give peace of mind, and improve future financial security.

Prizes, snowflake mug are part of Winter Reading Challenge

Get ready for the freezing temperatures! Come join the Ada Public Library Winter Reading Challenge and warm up with a good book and a cup of cocoa!

The challenge is for all ages and registration begins Tuesday January 16.

The library has books to check out, prizes to win, and an adorable snowflake mug with a packet of hot chocolate for you avid readers that complete the Winter Challenge.

Obituary for Betty Rose Hawk

Betty Rose Hawk, age 95, of Harrod, passed away on Friday, January 12, 2024 at Vancrest of Ada. 

She was born on December 8, 1928 in Allen County, Ohio to the late John W. and Bertha (Binkley) Fleming.  On July 30, 1948, Betty married Richard A. Hawk and he preceded her in death on February 5, 2007. 

Bulldog girls basketball loss to AE

Feed the birds craft at the Ada Public Library

The Ada Public Library is hosting "Feed the Birds," an ornament craft with Miss Kari.

Participants will be creating outdoor décor that provides a tasty treat for our feathered friends.
