"Village of Ada" app now available

The Village of Ada has a new, updated app that allows you to pay your Utility Bill and a variety of other options. The app gives you direct access to the content of the Village website, www.adaoh.org/

School board meets in executive session March 12-13-14

The Board of Education of the Ada Exempted Village Schools have scheduled three close-door executive sessions for the purpose of hiring a superintendent on March 12, 13 and 14.

Casteel Lecture to feature science fiction writer Tobias S. Buckell

The School of Social Sciences and Human Interaction at ONU has announced the 2024 Irene Casteel Endowed Speaker Series keynote is Tobias S. Buckell with his lecture entitled “How Bad Metaphors Hurt Us: The Power of Story in a Constantly Connected World.”

The lecture is at 6:00 p.m. on March 19 in the Biggs Theatre at the Freed Center for the Performing Arts. There will be a reception following the lecture in the Freed Center Lobby. The community is invited to this free event.
