April 25 media release__Moon King Entertainment Group is pleased to announce the opening of Old Route 69 Brewery, 120 East Buckeye in downtown Ada, Ohio this summer. The 12,0000 square-foot brewery, taproom, restaurant, and 10,000 square-foot beer garden will offer distinctive craft beer, food and family-inclusive entertainment.
The brewery will feature a selection of core Old Route 69 Brewery craft beers, crafted by Head Brewer John Novotny upon launch and is expected to add 10-12 house-brewed beers in the coming months. Guests will enjoy the verdant beer garden that will offer a jumbo LED television, live music, cornhole and other lawn games.
Hardin County Sheriff's Office media release, April 25__On 04/24/25 at 4:29 p.m., a traffic stop was initiated near the intersection of Co Rd 50 and Co Rd 15 as part of a felony investigation. The suspect vehicle, a 2006 Green Honda Ridgeline, was operated by Damon Micheal Kaiser of rural Roundhead, Ohio.
Deputies were able to positively identify Mr. Kaiser as the driver whom was known to have numerous felony warrants. Mr. Kaiser failed to comply with visual and audible signals displayed by Deputies and fled west into Allen County Ohio.

ADA – The streaking Ada High School softball team defeated plucky non-conference backyard rival Allen East 6-0 Thursday evening, April 23 to celebrate Senior Night.
Ada improved to 14-2 overall with their sixth straight victory, all at home. The Bulldog girls have outscored their opponents 62-1 during the win streak.
Outmanned AE battled hard but dropped to 2-10 overall after taking the rivalry loss.

April 23 Media Release__The Hardin County Agricultural Society is hosting a cheerleading competition at the Hardin County Fair on Sunday, September 7, 2025 at 12:30 p.m. The competition is for school squads, recreation squads, local gyms, and USASF teams.
The competition will have tumbling & non-tumbling and stunting & non-stunting divisions in the following three categories: COMPETITION (3 minute limit); GAME DAY (3 minute limit) **Incorporates Fight Song, Crowd-Leading and Band Chant w/transitions; or FIGHT SONG ONLY (1 minute limit).
HARROD – The Ada High School baseball team lost 8-1 at backyard former league rival Allen East on an unseasonably warm Thursday evening, April 24.
The game was slated to be played at Ada but was moved to Allen East.
The Mustangs broke up a scoreless game with a run in the fourth inning. They pushed four runs across the plate in the fifth frame to construct a 5-0 lead.
The Mustangs added three runs in the sixth, while the Bulldogs plated their lone run.
