Ada boys basketball edges HN late

DOLA – Free throws don’t usually make TV highlight shows, but they often decide close games.

The visiting Ada High School boys basketball team nipped county rival Hardin Northern 44-41 by sinking three free throws in the final seconds Saturday night.

Bulldog sophomore Carson Conley broke a 41-41 tie by hitting the second of two foul shots with 2.5 seconds left.

Patty and Robert Lydic light up ONU field house with new video display

A new, state-of-the-art video board is lighting up competitive events in the Field House at Ohio Northern University, thanks to the generosity of Patricia (Patty) and Robert Lydic, BS ’97.

ONU held a dedication ceremony for the Lydic-Croy Video Board on Friday, January 17, during an Ohio Athletic Conference (OAC) indoor track and field meet supported by and named in honor of the donors as the Patty and Rob Lydic Invitational.

The Village of Ada has notified residents that if you have a water meter inside your home or under your trailer you will receive a letter like the one attached here. If you receive one of these letters, call NECO at 1-800-624-6975 to schedule your new water meter intallation.
