MEDIA RELEASE__For the next 3 weeks the Ada Municipal Pool will be opening early to the public for adults and children 12 & under to enjoy the pool.

All children must be accompanied by an adult and will not be admitted unless an adult is coming in, too!

The middle section of the pool will NOT be open due to lap swim occurring from 11:00 a.m.-12:00 p.m.

You may continue to stay at the pool after this designated time is over at no additional cost.

Cost: $5 per person, children 3 and under are free. Pool passes accepted.

Owners Dominic and Susan Fricano provide dine-in and carryout service with a full menu of classic Italian and all-American favorites: pizza, pasta, wings, subs, stromboli and calzones, salads, desserts and a kid’s menu. Drive thru pickup and delivery is also available.

And as they will tell you: “Don’t forget the cannoli!” 

The July 2025 Ada Board Of Education Meeting is scheduled for Thursday July 17, 2025 at 6:00 p.m.

More than 44,000 Ohio households served in 2024

The Ohio Department of Development and Area Agency on Aging 3 are once again offering assistance to help Ohio's families stay cool during the hot summer months.

ONU junior Marisa Alfes (Bellbrook) has been named an All-American Scholar for 2024-25 by the Women's Golf Coaches Association.

The criteria for WGCA All-American Scholar honors is a 3.50 GPA, be an amateur and have played in 50 percent or more of the team's events during the season.

A total of 1,499 women's collegiate golfers from 403 programs across the country were honored on Monday.

Alfes, a finance major, is a three-time All-OAC honoree, winning the individual OAC title this season. She finished 25-over par 79-76-82-76—313.
