Ada swimmers 4th at Upper Sandusky meet; Baumgartner wins 2

UPPER SANDUSKY – The Ada High School swim teams finished fourth at a five-team meet in Upper Sandusky on Saturday, January 25.

Lexington swept the combined, boys and girls team titles. The host Rams were second in the girls-boys standings.

Bluffton finished third overall, second in girls and third in boys.

Ada ended up fourth in all three standings. The Bulldogs tallied 39 points, 26 by the girls and 13 from the boys team.

Bulldog senior Lily Baumgartner touched first in the 100 butterfly and the 500 freestyle events. She won the 100 fly by a whopping 8.73 seconds. She also took the 500 free by 21.71 ticks.

Ada sophomore Tim Chrissobolis won the 100 breaststroke.

Junior Lydia Demascio captured second in the 100 backstroke.

Ada swims at Kenton Tuesday, January 28 in a dual meet at the Hardin County YMCA.
