Students in Miss Daniels 3rd grade class at Ada Elementary School are writing to Santa Claus. The Icon will share these in several installments. Today's letters are from Talia, Keegan, Kenneth, Parker and Margot.
Dear Santa,
My name is Talia and I have a lot of questions. What do you give your reindeer to make them fly? Mrs. Claus, what is your favorite cookie? How old are you? Santa, how do you get across the world in one night?
These are the reasons why I should be on the nice list. First, on Thanksgiving I helped my mom’s friend because my mom was gone. I helped her cook. I helped take care of the boys while she worked. Next, I help her learn English because she is Arabic. Lastly, I always do my homework.
These are a few things I want for Christmas. Santa, can I get a watch that texts and plays games? Also I would like an Ipad with lots of games on it? Can I please get some hair bows and hair ties? These are just a few of the things I want for Christmas.

I have a few questions for you. How do you get the elves to get to the North pole? Santa, how did you get the name Santa? Mrs. Claus, What kind of cookies do you make for Santa on Christmas Eve? How do you get to all the houses in one night? Elves, how does Santa make you guys?
This year I think I am on the nice list. Here are a few reasons why I am on the nice list. First, I help my mom with the dishes. Next, I am nice to my sister, brother, and parents. Also, I help my mom cook dinner. Finally, I help my cousins get high things off the shelf.
For Christmas I would like a couple of things. I would like a Playstation 5 and some games. The next thing I want is a new game for the Nintendo switch. Also a phone and maybe a harmonica so I can play it for my sister and brother.

Hey Mr. Claus, how do reindeer fly? I also want to know what Mrs. Claus’ favorite cookie is? My favorite type of cookie are chocolate chip cookies! Can you also tell me what do reindeer eat for dinner? How do the elves make the toys so fast?
This year for Christmas, I think that I am on the nice list. First, I clean my room. Next, I take the trash out. Last, I cook the food.
Some of the things I want for Christmas are fun games like Minecraft Survival. Another thing I want is a medium Squishmallow, Sonic and Pokemon Go cards. I would actually like a bunch of Pokemon cards. I would also like a stuffed animal dog. And the last thing that I want is a RC car that goes 1.000 MPH but it has to be blue.
I hope you get me all of these things I want for Christmas. I think I’ve been good enough to get at least some of these things. I hope you have a Merry Christmas Santa! Thank you!

I’ve been wondering how do you get all of the presents delivered in such little time? Next, Santa, how do you know everyone's parents? Santa, how do you make the reindeer fly? Mrs Claus, what's the best part of working for Santa Claus?
I think I’m on the nice list because I’ve turned in my homework on time and have only forgotten once. I also think I’m on the nice list because I keep my room clean. Sometimes I even help my mom with dinner.
This year I would like a couple of things for Christmas. Santa, I’d like some slime. I’ve always wanted crunchy slime. Also, Santa, I'd like a new comforter for Christmas because the one I have right now is too cold at night and my cat threw up on it. And I’d like matching sheets, covers and pillow cases.
