Jumbo Jr. Farmers 4-H report for April 2024

The second meeting of the Jumbo Jr. Farmers was held on Monday, April 1, 2024 at 7:00 p.m. There were 20 members, 3 advisors and 11 parents or guests in attendance.
The Pledge of Allegiance was led by Ryan Harpster and the 4-H Pledge was led by Lydia Caldwell.
In old business, the club held elections of officers. The officers for the 2024 Year are President Claire Ketcham; Vice President Lydia Caldwell; Secretary Sam Blue; Treasurer LeiAnna Stedman; Reporter Tate Ketcham; Safety Officer Braylin Kabua; Health Officer Lindsey Winings; Environmental Officer Hunter Lautenschlager; Recreation Committee Jaci Wolfenbarger, Hadassa Vermillion, Mark Caldwell, Clayten Chamberlin and Lianna Purcell.
Members were reminded to register online through www.4honline.com for 4-H this year by April 15. The Jumbo Jr. Farmers Club Constitution and By-Law were approved by members with 100% (20 for/0 against) of the vote.
In new business, there was a t-shirt committee formed that will work on getting colors and ideas for the 2024 club shirt. Club and County Calendars were passed out to each family in attendance.
The next meeting will be planting of flowers at the Hardin County Fairgrounds on May 6 at the normal start time. Refreshments will be provided by Braylin Kabua (snacks) and Jaci Wolenbarger (drinks).
The meeting was adjourned with a motion from LeiAnna Stedman followed by a second by Kane Ketcham. Refreshments were provided by Ryan Harpster.
