Meet Marlene Vermillion, staff nurse. She will be retiring at the end of the 2023-2024 school year.

Q. What is the one thing you cannot resist?
A. Chocolate anything.

Q. Where is your favorite place to be?
A. Outside around nature.

Q. Where is the best place you’ve traveled to and why?
A. Utah, the state parks are breathtaking & serene.

Q. What would you do (for a career) if you weren’t doing this?
A. Working in a garden center.

Q. Tell us something that might surprise us about you.
A. I enjoy taking road trips with my hubby on his Harley motorcycle.

Q. If you could learn to do anything, what would it be?
A. Play a piano

Q. What are 3 words you’d use to describe Ada Schools?
A. Dedicated, caring, positive

Q. If you won the lottery, what is the first thing you would do? What is the first thing you would buy?
A. Travel abroad. I would buy a Can-am spyder (a 3 wheeled vehicle).

Q. When you have 30 minutes of free time, how do you pass the time?
A. Relax and listen to my 80’s music

Q. What’s your favorite indoor/outdoor activity?
A. Puzzles and campfires.

Q. What is the first concert you attended?
A. Bryan Adams.

Q. What music is on your iPhone/Android phone?
A. 80’s soft rock.

Q. What chore do you absolutely hate doing?
A. Cleaning the bathroom.

Q. If you could meet anyone, living or dead, who would you meet?
A. My great grandparents

Q. How do you balance your career and family?

A. Family is first, give 100% at work when able.
