Becoming a professional athlete in two sports—especially for a woman in the 1950s and 1960s—was nearly impossible. Jeneane Lesko, BA ’57, however, did just that, and her athletic career is only one headline of her amazing life.

The Lima Symphony Orchestra’s free, public Patriotic Pops concert will be held at Ohio Northern University on Sunday, June 30 at 7:00 p.m. The event will take place on the sculpture mall east of McIntosh Center between Presser and Weber halls.

The Friends of the Symphony are holding a fundraiser this summer in support of the Lima Symphony Orchestra. This lighthearted fundraiser, affectionately known as “Flock a Friend,” is a way for symphony supporters--including those who live in Ada--to offer their donations to the symphony in a fun, lighthearted way.
