Bulldog tennis loss at St. Marys

The visiting Ada High School tennis team lost a tight 3-2 battle at St. Marys Thursday evening, April 20.
The Bulldogs dropped to 2-3 with the loss. SM improved to 8-2 after the win.
Ada southpaw Nathan Williams won 6-0, 6-0 at second singles. Senior Amelia Alexander triumphed 6-2, 6-4 at third singles to provide the other Bulldog victory.
“It was a hard-fought match, regardless of the outcome,” said coach Tyler Christoff. “I am proud of the team’s fight, that is something you can’t teach.
“And I am proud of how hard they are working to get better each and every day,” he continued. “I am happy with their performance.”
Ada hosts local foe Bluffton Monday, April 24.
