Joseph K. Lamb, age 92, of Harrod, passed away on Friday, December 16, 2022, at the Lost Creek Care Center, Lima.
He was born on March 12, 1930, in Foraker, Ohio to the late James J. and Estella (Geider) Lamb. On May 22, 1948, Joseph married Mary B. Hill, she preceded him in death on October 7, 2009.
Joseph retired from Commercial Lovelace Motor Freight in Lima after working for 38 years. He also built twenty homes in and around Ada. He was a member of the St. Mark Lutheran Church of Ada. Joseph also was a member of the Colonial Hills Golfers Club, the Kenton Elks Lodge #157, and the Eagles Lodge #767 of St. Marys.
Surviving are a son, Dennis Lamb of North Lewisburg; two daughters: Debra Lamb of Myrtle Beach, SC, and Robin (Ron) Fullom of Harrod; seven grandchildren: Melanie Lamb, Melissa Lamb, Amanda (Mike) Murphy of Myrtle Beach, SC, Jonathon Lamb, Mike (Amanda Dale) Fullom of Anchorage, AK, Brandon Weigt of Harrod, Charlie (Sasha) Weigt of Lima, Frankie (Kylie Denley) Weigt of Harrod; and Trey (Anna Kachelries) Fullom of Ada; seventeen great grandchildren: Dustyn Lamb of Toledo, Karleigh (Paul) Gayton of Toledo, Kennedy Lamb of Toledo, Gavin Choberka of Myrtle Beach, SC, Hannah Murphy of Myrtle Beach, SC, Josie Murphy of Myrtle Beach, SC, Callista Troxell of Anchorage, AK, Ethan Fullom of Anchorage, AK, Lena Fullom of Anchorage, AK, Paxton Weigt of Harrod, Lizzie Sherrick of Lima, Emily Weigt of Lima, Mia Weigt of Lima, Elaina Breidenbach of Lima, Lylah Patterson of Harrod, and Remington Weigt of Harrod; and a sister, Mildred Titus.
He was preceded in death by three grandchildren and three great grandchildren: and numerous brothers and sisters.
Funeral services will begin at 12:00 p.m. on Thursday, December 29, 2022, at Hanson-Neely-Allison Funeral & Cremation Services, Ada with Larry Senwell officiating. Burial will be in Shawnee Cemetery, Lima.
Friends may call two hours prior to the service from 10:00 a.m.-12:00 p.m. on Thursday, December 29 at Hanson-Neely-Allison Funeral & Cremation Services, Ada.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Association and/or the Diabetes Foundation.
