Liberty Township EMS and fire department levies on General Election ballot

Tuesday, November 8, 2022 is Election Day with in person voting from 6:30 a.m.-7:30 p.m. The polling location for Ada precincts North and South is Ada Community Health Professionals Building, 1200 S Main St.

DEADLINES:
November 7 – Mailed ballots must be postmarked by Nov. 7
November 8 – ELECTION DAY / Polls open 6:30 a.m. -7:30 p.m. / Absentee ballots must be in drop boxes by 7:30 p.m.

Village of Ada
There are no Village of Ada elected official races on the ballot.

Liberty Township

Proposed tax levy addition for the Ada-Liberty Joint Ambulance District:

An additional tax for the benefit of Ada-Liberty Joint Ambulance District  for the purpose of providing ambulance service, emergency medical service, or both at a rate not exceeding 2 mills for each one dollar of valuation,which amounts to $0.20  for each one hundred dollars of  valuation, for 5 years, commencing  in 2022, first due in calendar year  2023.

Proposed tax levy renewal for Liberty Township Fire Department:

A renewal of a tax for the benefit of Liberty Township (including the  Village of Ada), for the purpose of  providing and maintaining fire  apparatus, appliances, buildings, or sites therefor, or sources of water  supply and materials therefor, or the establishment and maintenance of  lines of fire alarm telegraph, or the payment of permanent, part-time, or  volunteer firefighters or firefighting companies to operate the same,  including the payment of the  firefighter employers contribution  required under section 742.34 of the Revised Code, or the purchase of  ambulance equipment, or the provision of ambulance, paramedic,  or other emergency medical services operated by a fire  department or firefighting company, at a rate not exceeding 1 mill for  each one dollar of valuation, which amounts to $0.10 for each one  hundred dollars of valuation, for 5 years, commencing in 2023, first  due in calendar year 2024.
