Boots and Buckles 4-H meeting report

April 25 meeting update

Meeting was called to order by President Chloe Anderson. Club said the Pledge of Allegiance and the 4-H pledge. 

Next was roll call, answering “What is your favorite Color” 

The minutes from the last meeting were read by secretary Josie Schwemer. Treasurer’s report was given by Issac Anderson.

New business: The club is going to have a contest for a new club shirt design. Anyone who would like to design this year's shirt, please bring a picture to the next meeting and the club will then vote.  

Demonstrations were given: Issac Anderson demonstrated how to make a cover for a gasket, Callie Schwemer demonstrated how to make Oreo balls, Wyatt Strickland demonstrated how to make tea, Wyatt James and Daniel demonstrated the eight leadership habits, Adalya McCafferty demonstrated the rock cycle. The best demo of the night was won by Callie Schwemer. 

Club was reminded that books can be purchased at the extension office. 

Recreation was girls against boys in a cup stacking challenge. The challenge was won by the girls. Snacks were provided by Cody and Hailey Miesse. The meeting was adjourned; motion by Josie Schwemer and second by Marina Fox.

Next meeting is May 9, 2022 at 6:30 p.m. at the Arts and Craft building at the Hardin County fairgrounds.
