The Ohio Northern University chapter earned 11 awards for excellence in college journalism in the Society for Collegiate Journalists’ (SCJ) annual contest.
Well, there were moments when we thought it may never arrive, but summer is here and in full swing! (YES!!! Finally ;) Hopefully, you have had a chance to get out and enjoy a little of the sunshine and beautiful temps so far…..
Summer is full of so many fun opportunities….vacations, swimming, camping, boating, picnics, bike rides, gardening, long walks/runs. The list could go on and on. However, one common element surfaces across all these fun activities….the sun.
ONU senior Emily Richards (Delaware/Hayes) has been named the 2018 Division III Honda Athlete of the Year nominee for track and field as announced by Executive Director Chris Voelz of THE Collegiate Women Sports Awards (CWSA) presented by Honda. Click here for the story.
The Hardin County Pullers will be at Ada War Memorial Park on Friday, June 8. The competition will begin at 7 p.m. and will last until about 11 p.m. Gates open at 3 p.m. Registration is at 5 p.m.

ONU senior Emily Richards (Delaware/Hayes) has been named the 2018 Division III Honda Athlete of the Year nominee for track and field as announced by Executive Director Chris Voelz of THE Collegiate Women Sports Awards (CWSA) presented by Honda.
Richards is now designated one of 11 finalists for the prestigious DIII Honda Woman Athlete of the Year. This will be voted on at the end of the academic year by national balloting among 1,000 NCAA member schools as part of THE CWSA program, now in its 42nd year.
