Johnathan Shrader to perform with U-F band

Johnathan Shrader of Ada will perform in the University of Findlay Symphonic Band and Wind Ensemble concert, "In Memory," on Feb. 24, 2022, at 7:30 p.m.

Originally prompted by a 2021 shooting in Collierville, TN, which resulted in the death of the mother of Wes King, UF director of bands, the theme of the concert revolves around loss and serves as a tribute to those who have been impacted by a recent loss, particularly in light of the COVID pandemic.

The performance will be held at the Marathon Center for Performing Arts in Findlay, Ohio, and tickets are not required for the event.

Located in Findlay, Ohio, the University of Findlay is known not only for science, health professions, animal science and equestrian studies programs, but also for cultivating the next generation of business leaders, educators and global citizens through a dedication to experiential learning, both in and outside of the classroom. Established in 1882 through a joint partnership between the Churches of God, General Counsel and the City of Findlay, the University of Findlay has more than 80 majors leading to baccalaureate degrees and offers 11 master's degrees, and five doctoral degrees.
