Several athletes are scattered among the equipment located in the middle of the ONU Sports Center on Saturday afternoon. ONU hosted a Last Chance for track and field athletes to qualify for nationals.

ONU hosted three district high school basketball tournament games during the past week, drawing more than 8,000 people to campus. ONU can host since it is spring break.

Will McDaniel, Christian comedian and the New Hope Worship Band will present a program at 7 p.m., Saturday, April 2, at the Kenton Middle School.

Tickets are $10 each and are on sale locally in advance at Jitters in Kenton, Century 21 in Ada and Kenton and Quest Federal Credit Union.

Tickets will be available in a limited supply at the door.

Proceeds benefit Serenity Stables TC.

Today was our first 4-H Hardin county diary club meeting. We assigned President to Medow Cromer, Vice President to Preston Brien. Secretary to Laney Harpel, Treasurer to Landon West, Safety to Ali Harpel, Health to Carter Bay and finally News reporter to Elaine Webster!

This year the 4-H club has decided to have a booth at the fair. The  4-H Booth Committee has the responsibility to pick a theme and recreate it! That committee consists of, Mandy Dyer, Tia Reffner, Marlana Webster, and Anne Temple.

The Theme will be decided next meeting which is April 10, 2016.
  
                      

The Icon doesn't often offer junior high photos in its historical photo section. Here's an exception. This team won the Hardin County tournament where they were undefeated.

Ohio Northern University and the Department of Music present “African Music Celebration,” an evening of African drumming and dance led by Benjamin Obido Ayettey, professor and Fulbright visiting scholar, in the Freed Center for the Performing Arts on Thursday, March 10, at 7:30 p.m.
