Donna Campbell, 78, passed away on Monday, Nov. 23, 2020, at 3:14 a.m. at her residence in Ada.

She was born on June 23, 1942 in Bellefontaine, Ohio, to the late Clarence and Doris (Shadley) Weihrauch.  On Jan. 8, 1961, Donna married Virgil Campbell and he survives in Ada.

Donna worked as a library aide for the Ada Exempted Village Schools.

Ranks 9th all-time in NCAA DIII women's tennis history with a winning percentage of 78.9

Ohio Northern head coach Scott Wills was recently honored as one of the nation's top NCAA Division III women's tennis coaches by the Intercollegiate Tennis Association.

Wills currently ranks ninth all-time in NCAA Division III women's tennis history with a winning percentage of 78.9. His 19-year career record of 381-102 puts him 19th all-time on the NCAA Division III women's tennis wins list.

He is only nine wins away from the Ohio Athletic Conference women's tennis record of 390 wins by Baldwin Wallace's Jack Bethanfalvy, who went 390-300 from 1985-2018.

Worked for Ada Grain Elevator and Ada police department

Justin L. “Jud” Dearth, 82, passed away on Friday, Nov. 20, 2020 ,at 7:30 a.m. at Mercy Health-St. Rita’s Medical Center, Lima.

He was born on Jan. 23, 1938, in Hardin County to the late Jasper E. and Aezelda (Robnolte) Dearth.  

Jud previously worked for the Ada Grain Elevator for eight years, the Ada Police department for 12 years and retired from the Ada Village Street Department after working for 16 years.  He was a 1956 Ada High school graduate and served in the National Guard.

The election is over, and President Trump lost

President Trump is trying to steal the election.

He's making false claims of fraud and refusing to help the transition to President-Elect Biden. That transition process should include briefings for President-Elect Biden  on national security and on the federal response to the pandemic, among other issues. President Trump is blocking those briefings.

The losers here are the American people.
