Marshall, Burkhart and Ksmatali named All-NCOSA
Three girls on the Ada High School soccer team have been selected for honors in voting conducted by league coaches recently.
Ada sophomore center-midfielder Ella Marshall was named first team All-North Central Ohio Soccer Association.
Marshall earned honorable mention NCOSA notice in 2020 as a freshman.
Lady Bulldog sophomore striker Olivia Burkhart, who led the team in goals, was voted second team all-league.
Ada senior striker Julia Ksmatali was named honorable mention All-NCOSA.
Ada second-year mentor A.J. Wahlie shared NCOSA Coach of the Year honors with Ty Calvin and Scott Bash.
Brooke Deeter of Liberty-Benton was voted NCOSA girls Player of the Year.
Riverdale won the league crown at 4-0-1, just ahead of L-B (3-0-2). Van Buren was third at 2-1-1, while Cory-Rawson went 1-2 and Upper Sandusky finished 1-4.
The Ada girls went 0-3 in league play to finish last in the six-team NCOSA standings. Injuries shortened the Bulldog season.
