The Ada Rotary Club will host a forum for Ada Board of Education candidates from 7-9 p.m. on Wednesday, Oct. 13 in the Dicke Hall forum at Ohio Northern University.
The six candidates for two open seats are Chase Archer, Adam Baumgartner, Denise D’Arca, Ron Fleming, Margaret Gordon and Thomas (Ted) Griffith. Fleming is the only incumbent.
Two candidates, Neal Dumbaugh and Michael Willeke, have formally withdrawn from the race.
The forum will begin with introductions by each candidate, a series of questions and answers, and closing statements by each candidate. The forum is not a debate. A moderator will ask the questions.
Candidates may meet with those in attendance after the forum.
Members of the public who wish to submit questions for consideration may email them to Rotary Club President John Neville at [email protected].
“Rotary clubs across the world are known for engagement with the communities they serve,” Neville says. “Ada Rotary believes this forum will prepare voters to make informed choices on election day, November 2.”
Those in attendance will be required to wear masks in keeping with ONU policy.
