The Campaign (R) starts Friday at Ada Theatre

The Campaign, rated R, will start Friday at the Ada Theatre, accoding to James Curlis, owner.

Show times are:
Friday and Saturday, 7 and 9 p.m.
Sunday through Thursday, 7 p.m.

Plot Summary: When long-term congressman Cam Brady (Will Ferrell) commits a major public gaffe before an upcoming election, a pair of ultra-wealthy CEOs plot to put up a rival candidate and gain influence over their North Carolina district. The Ohio Department of Education released a limited, preliminary set of school performance data for the 2011-12 school year on Sept. 26.

Ada girl's golfers finish fourth at sectional

The Ada High School girl’s golf team finished itsseason by finishing 4th at the sectional tournament on Sept. 25.

Zoe Laird led the team with a 103. Kenzie added a 108, Quinn shot a 111 while Suzy and Paige had 130. The team score of 45 to beat the old record by 41 shots.

Here's the latest news from the Ada schools:

LANGUAGE CLUB: There will be a Language Club meeting Thursday, Sept. 27 after school in the French room. We will be electing officers and sharing program ideas for the year. Any high school student in French or Spanish class is welcome. Please see Mrs. Davis or Mrs. Davis if you are interested but unable to attend the first meeting or if you have any questions.
