Several downtown businesses including:
• No Limit Nutrition
• The Mercantile on Main
• 3 Brothers Pizza
• Beatitudes
• and others joining the list soon are among participants.
“For the event, each girl will be given a booklet with clues,” said Tammy Miller, community development manager for Girl Scouts of Western Ohio.
Using the clues, girls will need to figure out which business the clue is describing and then visit the location and receive a stamp for their “passport” booklet.
Upon completing the “passport” the girls return to the check-in area to receive their treasure.
“It is a fun way for the girls to see what Girl Scouts has to offer, visit some of the businesses in Ada and spend some time outside with their family,” said Miller.
“The event is to let families and girls know Girl Scouts is still in Ada and we continue to accept girls into troops.”
She added, “We have many of our older Girl Scouts helping at the event and can answer any questions the younger girls may have about what Girl Scouts do.”
The activity will follow social distancing guidelines and will require participants to wear masks.
