The following highway construction is scheduled to occur within Hardin County. Work is dependent upon weather conditions, and unless otherwise noted, it will take place during daytime hours.
State Route 37 between township Road 147 and township Road 149, approximately two miles south of U.S. 30, will be restricted to one lane on Tuesday, March 10, for tree removal. The work is being performed by Miller Contracting Group, Ottoville.
Here's a photo of Ada's Main Street looking north sometime in the late 1940s or very early 1950s. The truck parked southbound resembles a 1949 Cheverolt. There's even a "woodie" parked on the photographer's side of the street.

A workshop to help area professionals sharpen their social media skills will be held from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. on March 20 in McIntosh Center at Ohio Northern University. The event is intended to help individuals learn how to optimize their organization’s social media presence.
The Ohio Northern softball team welcomes back a lion's share of its team in 2020. Seven of the eight players who logged at least 100 at-bats in 2019 come back along with two of the four pitchers who saw action last season.
"We do have a solid group returning," ONU head coach Jackie Price said. "We started a good amount of freshmen last year, and for them to get that experience, it was really good. So having those kids come back and teaching our younger kids the expectations and what we want from them, I think that will definitely help us this year."
