New staff members:
Mrs. Wissman will teach kindergarten. She is an Ada graduate who has spent the last 11 years teaching at Kenton City Schools, 10 of those as a kindergarten teacher.
Mrs. Fleming is joining the preschool staff. She is also an Ada graduate. She last taught at USV.
Mr. Wireman is our new gifted teacher. He is a recent graduate who student taught with us last year.
Safety Measures
No one may enter the school without wearing a mask. Also, we will restrict the number of people in the office to one family. We ask that small children not be brought into the office area. We are asking that families call with their questions as much as possible to reduce office traffic.
Visitors for the school year are to be minimal. Parents will not be permitted to attend birthday parties or eat with their children.
Students in classes who have daily snacks, the snacks must be in manufacturers single-serving packaging only. An example of what might be acceptable:
• Acceptable: Individually packaged Goldfish
• Unacceptable: Large box of Goldfish to be distributed in the classroom
• No homemade products can be brought in for snacks.
Final Forms
Each year we require families to review and sign their forms online using Final Forms before the start of the new school year. Now more than ever it is important that we have accurate and up-to-date information on each student.
If you have not completed your student's FinalForms for the upcoming year, please do so as soon as possible. All students, both on campus and home instruction, should complete their forms. To access Final Forms, visit https://ada-oh.finalforms.com/
Picture Day
The elementary picture day (K-6) is Wednesday, Aug. 26. Due to COVID-19, perrsons ordering photos are encouraged to place their order online to avoid paper handling between students, teachers, and the photographer. Kindergarten B group parents, picture day is Tuesday, Aug. 25, which is your student's first day. Information about ordering was sent to you in previous communication but you can use the same link above to order online as well.

Supplies and Fees
Students should bring their supplies with them the first day of school. Please make sure to include a water bottle and 2 masks for students as well. Due to visitor restrictions, parents will not be permitted to escort their child to class. We will have staff members available to assist.
Parents will be able to pay their fees online using Pay Schools Central, the same program we have used for paying lunches for the past few years. We encourage families to use this option to pay their fees. Families may also pay with check or cash, which may be sent in with students in an envelope.
