The ONU Healthwise mobile clinic is heading out on the road September 24-26 with the following schedule. For more information, call the pharmacy at 419-772-3784.

Dunkirk Community Center, Tuesday

  • September 24 - 4:30-6:00 p.m.

Hardin County YMCA, Wednesday

  • September 25 - 9:00-11:00 a.m.

Alger Food Pantry, Wednesday

  • September 25 - 4:30-6:00 p.m.

Agape Ministries, Thursday

  • September 26 - 12:00-2:00 p.m.

Kickin' it for Cancer fundraiser by Bulldog girls soccer, Oct. 5

The Ada High School girls soccer team is inviting the public to the Kickin it for Cancer soccer game against Kenton on Saturday, October 5.

The team plans on having events that night to help raise funds for Hardin County Not By Choice Outreach. The Kenton Girls Soccer team is partnering with the Bulldgos for this event: "We invite cancer survivors or those battling cancer to come on out as we will recognize your fight at halftime of the game.

Art & Design Faculty exhibit through October 4

ONU's Elzay Gallery of Art will host an Art & Design Faculty exhibit Sept. 23 - Oct. 4. Featured artists are Luke Sheets, Melissa Eddings Mancuso, Brit Rowe, Emily Jay and Andrew Steingass. Admission is free and open to all. Gallery hours are 9 a.m. - 4 p.m. Monday through Friday while class is in session.

As the hot weather of summer starts to cool down, many of those who  own a swimming pool are preparing to winterize or take them down. Because the water used in them is treated with chemicals, it is important  that they are drained properly.

Why is Pain Awareness Important?
With an increased focus on pain awareness this month, pain management care team members are dedicated to educating the community on the impact of chronic pain. The purpose of highlighting pain awareness is to instill a greater understanding among healthcare professionals, individuals, and families who are struggling with pain management. The same applies to the business community, legislators, and the general public, as pain is a serious public health issue.
