Ada High School senior, Courtney “CoCo” McLaughlin is one of four Hardin County student volunteers of the year.
The announcement was made today by the Kenton Elks. McLaughlin joins other county seniors, Megan Miller of Hardin Northern, Aubrey Thrush of Kenton and Kelsey Stainfield of Ridgemont.
The four Hardin County winners will advance to the District level next.
Among volunteer activities of CoCo included leading the Ada First United Methodist Church Vacation Bible School last summer. At Ada High School she was a ‘Dog’s Volunteer, where she helped teachers in classrooms.
She also was a cheerleader for varsity football and basketball, member of the cross country team, Varsity Singers, Secret Admirer, National Honor Society, Film Club, Drama Club, Language Club, Book Club and Ada Mental Health Alliance.
