Studio 419 and Hardin County 4-H offer free line dancing class, June 26

Studio 419 is hosting a free line dancing class on Wednesday, June 26 from 6:00-7:30 p.m. The class is being led by Hardin County 4-H.

Retirement open house for OSU Extension educator Mark Badertscher

Mark Badertscher, the Agriculture and Natural Resources Educator for OSU Extension in Hardin County, recently announced that he is retiring at the end of June. Badertscher spent over 11 years as the Agriculture and Natural Resources Educator and has another 26 years of experience teaching agriculture and serving as an FFA Advisor.

After a combined 37 years in public education, Mark wants to thank his colleagues and his community for their support. He also thanks them for supporting his events and projects over the years. Mark’s final day with OSU Extension is June 30. The University will be hiring another educator to fill the position.

Lead donor would be needed to save, renovate 1879 structure

Hill Memorial building, often used as the “face” of Ohio Northern University in promotional materials, has come to a critical moment in its existence. Built in 1879 and the survivor of two major fires, the building will be closed on the last day of July 2024.
