Still time to sign-up for Wednesday "Getting your house in order" workshop
There's still time to sign-up for the Wednesday program -
FROM BLUFFTON ICON - Four Bluffton business professionals will offer free “Getting Your House In Order” workshops this fall.
Faith Investment Services, partnering with Fortman Insurance, Scott Basinger, attorney at law, and Neil Reichenbach, CPA, present workshops addressing basic questions about retirement, insurance coverage, taxes and similar subjects.
The first free workshop, is at 7 p.m., Wednesday, Oct. 16, in the front portion of Faith Investment Services building, 101 N. Main St., Bluffton.
“Many of the questions cross the lines of specialty – affecting insurance and tax planning or impacting investments and estate planning – and we believe it will be especially helpful to have multiple experts in one room,” said Gary Reese of Faith Financial.
Some questions this workshop will cover:
• Is my insurance coverage adequate?
• When can I retire? Will I have enough money to live on when I am no longer working?
• What will happen tax-wise when I inherit Dad’s land or IRA?
• Are there legal ways to give money to my children prior to entering a nursing home?
• How do I sign up for Medicare or begin to navigate the world of Medicare supplements?
• Should I be “in the market” if I’m on a limited income?
• How should I leave money to my children or church or favorite charities?
• What questions should I be asking that I don’t even know to ask?
This workshop will be held multiple times for convenient scheduling.
Each workshop is one evening, at 101 N. Main Street in Bluffton, in the front portion of the Faith Investment Services building.
The Oct. 16 workshop will be repeated in November and January. Watch Facebook and the Icon for more details.
