Mitchell D. “Mitch” Parr, 23, died on Tuesday, Oct. 29, 2019, at his residence in McGuffey.
He was born on Sept. 28, 1996, in Lima, Ohio, to Donald D. Parr and Greta A. Miller. His father preceded him in death and his mother survives in Jumbo. Also surviving are his aunts, uncles and cousins.
Mitch worked for Infrasource of Lima as a pipefitter. He was a member of the Plumbers & Pipefitters Union Local 776 of Lima. Mitch was a 2016 graduate of Upper Scioto Valley High School.
Funeral services will begin at noon on Saturday, Nov. 2, at the McGuffey Church of Christ, 203 Columbus St., McGuffey, with Dave Holbrook officiating.
Friends may call two hours prior to the service from 10 a.m. to noon on Saturday, Nov. 2, at the church. It was his wish to be cremated following his funeral service.
