Falcons blank Ada boys
By Cort Reynolds
MT. BLANCHARD - Host Riverdale shut out Ada 5-0 in a boys soccer North Central Ohio Soccer Association match Thursday evening.
The loss dropped the overall Bulldog record to 8-5-1 (2-2 NCOSA).
Ada (3-1 Northwest Conference) plays at backyard league rival Allen East (5-6-1, 3-0 NWC) Monday, October 7. AE trails four-time defending NWC champion Bluffton (4-0) by a half-game.
The Mustangs and Pirates meet in the league/regular season finale October 10 at Harrod with an NWC title on the line. Ada would share a three-way league crown if they beat AE, and if the Mustangs defeat Bluffton.
