She is survived by her husband of 21 years, Roger Bishop (Sunbury, OH), mother Linda Runser (Myrtle Beach,SC), and father-in-law Jack Bishop (Marysville, OH), sister Michele’ (George) Tapp (Ada, OH), brother Michael (Susan) Runser (Myrtle Beach, SC) nephews Heath (Jessica) Jackson, Michael (Erica) Hawkins, Brody Runser, nieces Carlee Marshall (Austin Gibboney) and Bayley Runser, great-nieces Skylar and OlivIa Jackson, great nephew Cameron Jackson, sister-in-law Hazel (Daniel) Dyer (Carthage, IN), brothers-in-law William Bishop (N. Camille was preceded in death by her father Robert Runser with whom she shared her birthday of January 9th. She always knew she was the “best gift” he ever received; and her mother-in-law Mildred Bishop.
Camille graduated from Ada High School and the Ohio State Barber College. She barbered in Ada, Columbus, and Delaware for over 25 years. She enjoyed her trade as she was ever-so-much a people person, never meeting a stranger and if they were by chance, most likely quickly became her friend. Her wonderful smile, charm, and sense of humor won everyone’s heart. If you were her friend you were for life.
Camille and Roger enjoyed fishing and camping at Lake Erie. She loved spending time at the beach and time with the family. She always said she was too busy for hobbies, living life was her hobby.
In lieu of flowers, the family ask that donations be made in Camille's name to The American Cancer Society.
A “Celebration of Life” will be held Saturday, May 25, at 2 p.m. at Ada First Baptist Church, 350 W. North Ave., Ada.
