The Ada softball team was seeded sixth out of 11 teams in the Div. IV Wapakoneta sectional/district drawings held Sunday. The Lady Bulldogs (8-10) begin defense of their 2018 district title when they host seventh seed Maron Local (5-11) Monday, May 6 at 5 p.m. in first round play.
The Ada/ML victor will then play at third seed Ft. Recovery Thursday, May 9 in the sectional finals at 5 p.m.
That winner will advance to the Wapak district semifinals May 14 at 6:30 p.m.
Minster was seeded first, followed by second seed New Bremen, FR and fourth-seeded Ridgemont. The Gophers host fifth seed county foe Hardin Northern May 9 in second round sectional play.
USV was seeded ninth and will play at Perry May 6 in the first round.
The Wapakoneta district champion advances to the Greenville regional round of 16.
