It's almost April; that means prom is on the horizon

And, for parents who need to know, here are some details

Hey, guys, have you rented your tux yet? Ada High School prom is closer than you think.

This year’s prom is Saturday, April 27. The following prom details are from the Ada school website:

PROM GUEST REQUEST FORMS: are available in the high school office. Students planning to bring a date who does not attend Ada High School need to complete the form and returned to the high school office by Friday, April 26, at 3:30 p.m.

PROM TICKETS: go on sale from Monday, March 25, to Thursday March 28. Tickets are $20 each and include a dinner. Students may choose dinner table reservation when tickets are purchased. Each table can seat eight people. Also, school fees need to be paid before a ticket can be purchased.

FROM MR. LUSK: Ada and Riverdale both finished 5-0, but Riverdale prevailed 15-10 in a hard fought championship match. 

FROM MRS. SMITH: The Tuesday blood drive recruited 29 new donors, and collected a total of 34 pints of blood. 

SENIORS: there are eight local scholarship forms on the high school website that are due April 1.

FROM MS. GORDON: 15 or older? Looking for a part time summer job? The Ada Municipal Pool is accepting applications for the 2019 pool season. Applications can be found on line at www.ada.org or can be picked up at the Village of Ada municipal building. 

DATES TO REMEMBER:
March 22: Grade cards sent home with students
March 25: Music Booster meeting, 6 p.m., Media Center
March 26: 2-hour early dismissal at 1:30 p.m. for staff development
March 27: National Honor Society induction 7 p.m., Auditorium
March 28: FFA banquet, 6:30 p.m.
March 30: Kiwanis pancake breakfast
