Rememberance service
By Monty Siekerman
Hanson-Neely Funeral Home held its annual remembrance service on Saturday afternoon.
Family and friends nearly filled the funeral home to remember those lost. As they arrived, family members were given ornaments to be placed on a large tree. The ornaments were inscribed with the names of those to be remembered.
During the service, Marc and Linda Staley lighted the remembrance candle. Pastor Charles Moeller, of Lafayette Congregational Christian Church, gave the message titled “The Wonder of Immortality.” Pastor Don Klingler, of Alger First United Methodist Church, offered the prayer and read Scripture.
Bruce Neely welcomed those assembled, and Connie Fleming was organist.
