Night lights on campus- photo essay by Ken Collins

The Ohio Northern University campus is suddenly quiet. No students walk the paths, talk on their cell phones, park themselves at Northern on Main, or the library, or the gym, or in their dorm rooms.

It’s spring break. Ken Collins made his own spring break project - he took advantage of the empty campus to photography it by night.

Last chance for nationals

Can you find the people in this picture?

Several athletes are scattered among the equipment located in the middle of the ONU Sports Center on Saturday afternoon. ONU hosted a Last Chance for track and field athletes to qualify for nationals.

Some terrific athletes from many schools in all divisions were on hand to better their scores or times to qualify for the all-important national competition. (Monty Siekerman photo)

A glimpse of the 8,000+ visitors to ONU last week

ONU hosted three district high school basketball tournament games during the past week, drawing more than 8,000 people to campus. ONU can host since it is spring break.

Tickets on sale for Will McDaniel performance on April 2

Will McDaniel, Christian comedian and the New Hope Worship Band will present a program at 7 p.m., Saturday, April 2, at the Kenton Middle School.

Tickets are $10 each and are on sale locally in advance at Jitters in Kenton, Century 21 in Ada and Kenton and Quest Federal Credit Union.

Tickets will be available in a limited supply at the door.

Proceeds benefit Serenity Stables TC.
