Meet Father Abraham

Ada High School Band Director Jonathan Lischak is holding band camp this week week to prepare about 40 musicians for the upcoming season. Mt. Blanchard Heritage Day Festival Aug. 20

The first-ever Heritage Day Festival takes place in Mt. Blanchard on Saturday, Aug. 20, beginning at 10 a.m. and lasting through fireworks that evening.  

The Beautification Committee, with help from village council, sponsors the event.

Sugar Grove United Methodist holds July 24 worship in Ada park

The community is invited to worship at Ada War Memorial Park Sunday, July 24, with Sugar Grove United Methodist Church. 

A continental breakfast will be available at 9:30 a.m., followed by songs and worship in the brown shelter house near the back of the park.  Pastor Courtnie will continue the Disney at the Movies series with this week’s homily theme: Pocahontas. 

Lawn chairs are encouraged.
