Bowling Green Post investigating I-75 injury crash involving school bus

Six students on Arlington Local School District bus transported to hospital

NORTH BALTIMORE–The Bowling Green Post of the Ohio State Highway Patrol is  investigating a two-vehicle injury crash that occurred Sept. 7, at 9:15 p.m. on southbound Interstate 75 near Eagleville Road in Wood County.

Bulldog volleyball sweeps T-Birds

The visiting Ada High School varsity volleyball team defeated non-league foe Lima Central Catholic in straight sets Thursday evening, September 7.

The Bulldog record improved to 6-3 after the lopsided 25-12, 25-20, 25-17 victory.

WSJ ranks ONU no. 1 in Ohio for boosting graduates' salaries

A new ranking by the Wall Street Journal recognizes the quality and value of an Ohio Northern University education. ONU is ranked No. 33 in the nation and No. 1 in Ohio for “salary impact” by the WSJ/College Pulse 2024 Best Colleges in the U.S.
 
According to the rankings, salary impact “measures the extent to which a college boosts its graduates’ salaries beyond what they would be expected to earn regardless of which college they attended.”
 
ONU is also highly rated in the publication’s overall ranking of the top 400 universities in the country. ONU is No. 96 in the country and second in the Buckeye State. Ohio State is the next highest ranked university in Ohio coming in at No. 222.

The Ada After Prom Chili Cookoff Fundraiser is an opportunity to show off your Bulldog pride and chili-making skills on Friday, September 22--at the homecoming football game vs. Bluffton.

To enter, Email June Zimmerman at [email protected]. There is a $25 entry fee to participate in the competition. 

Contestants will bring a crock pot of their mouthwatering chili to War Memorial Stadium before the football game. Detailed instructions are provided once you enter.

Week 4 football preview: Bulldogs visit Knights in final NWC opener

In a battle of 2-1 teams, the Ada High School football team visits Crestview for the Northwest Conference opener, their last before joining the BVC, in week four Friday night.

Ada is over .500 heading into week four for the first time since 2017, when they started out 3-1. The Bulldogs finished 7-4 and made the playoffs for the last time that season.
