Bulldog boys knock off OH in 1st round

OAK HARBOR - The Ada boys soccer team defeated host Oak Harbor 2-1 Monday evening in the opening round of Div. III sectional tournament play.
The seventh-seeded Bulldog boys improved to 9-6-1 after the victory, and advance to the second round. Fourth seed OH finished 11-7-1 with the defeat.
Ada senior Chris Reyes tallied both Ada goals, each time on assists from Skylar Williams.
Bulldog junior keeper Drew Hadley was credited with six saves in goal.
Ada now advances to play at Willard, which had a first round bye, on Wednesday, October 17 at 5 p.m. The victor will advance to the district semifinals at Tiffin Columbian High School Oct. 24.
