Ada spikers whip Perry

ADA - The Ada volleyball team swept Perry Monday night in a non-league battle.
The Lady Bulldog spikers improved to 5-4 with the 25-11, 25-12, 25-16 win.
Senior Morgan Swick passed out 27 assists, made 12 digs and served four aces to lead the victors. Sophomore Sidney Gossasrd came up with 11 digs and dealt three aces.
Senior Rilan Conley hammered 11 kills and served a pair of aces. Sophomore Megan Light knocked down seven kills and made three blocks.
Senior Raina England and sophomore Miranda Wills each contributed five kills.
The Lady Bulldog reserves also won in straight sets.
Ada opens defense of its three straight Northwest Conference championships Tuesday, September 11 at Bluffton. The Bulldogs then host backyard NWC rival Allen East Thursday.
