Paul Craun, member of the Ada Community Improvement Corp (CIC) and construction professional, announced that he has filed to run for Hancock County commissioner in the May 8 Republican primary.
He will be emphasizing “Leading Together” as the theme for his campaign, bringing together business, community and government.
He has experience in supporting local economic development groups and in working with many small and large businesses and community groups across northwest Ohio.
As a construction and property management professional for over 43 years, 17
with Alvada Construction, Craun has played a significant role in helping to
rebuild and energize Findlay's downtown business area, while also working to find
common ground with the county’s agricultural community.
Craun said, “I am excited about the opportunity to apply my experience in
the private sector towards helping Hancock County businesses thrive, and I
intend to use those lessons and insights to help families across our entire
community.”
He added: “Hancock County residents have some very important issues facing them in the next few years. I believe that my experience and willingness to bring people with a wide range of viewpoints together will be an important asset in the County Commissioner’s office.”
