Pamela J. Risner, 1953 - 2017

 Pamela J. Risner, age 64, died on Sunday, November 26, 2017 at 9:17 p.m. at Lima Memorial Health System, Lima.

          She was born on November 8, 1953 in Allen County, Ohio to the late Richard H. and Helen C. (Halker) Zeller.  On February 18, 1971 in Harrod, Ohio Pam married Charles E. Risner and he survives in Alger.

          Pam formerly worked for the Ada Cardinal Grocery Store as the Deli Manager and Crowe’s Market in Alger.  She was a member of the Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church of Ada.  Pam was a graduate of Allen East High School class of 1971 and a graduate of Rich’s Bake School in Greenbay, Wisconsin.  She was president of the West Central Ohio Kidney Foundation and a former president of the Alger Public Library. 

           She is survived by her daughter, Tiffany Risner of Alger; two grandsons: Zackary Risner and Hunter Joseph;  a brother, Dennis (Kay) Zeller of Ottawa; and three sisters: Carolyn Gable of New Cleveland, Marilyn (Jack) McDermitt of Cridersville, and Miriam Brinkman of  Lima.

          She was preceded in death by a brother, Richard T. Zeller; and two sisters: Patricia Morman and Sharon Jolliff.

          A Memorial Mass of Christian Burial will begin at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, December 1, at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church at 300 East Highland Avenue, Ada, Ohio 45810 with Father David Young officiating. 

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the West Central Ohio Kidney Foundation c/o Lima Memorial Health System, 1001 Bellefontaine Avenue, Lima, Ohio 45804.
